Well, you just need to apply two coats of Smarter Surfaces wallpaper adhesive to the wall in order to put magnetic or whiteboard wallpaper. Next, apply the wallpaper as you would apply any other regular wallpaper, push out any air bubbles with a flat plastic edge, and use a sharp knife to trim it to size.

You can add more rolls to cover an entire wall by simply pushing two or more rolls together along the edge.

How is Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper applied?

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is best suited for smooth surfaces, including curved walls. However, prior to application, make sure to remove any debris or existing wallpaper. Also, make sure to thoroughly treat the absorbent surfaces with a primer before the application process.

Well, absorbent or uneven surfaces may require a primer to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth finish.

Your whiteboard can be wiped clean with a regular dry or slightly damp cloth. For easier cleaning, you can also use any standard Whiteboard Cleaning Spray. For tough or stubborn marks, we recommend customers use our Permanent Ink Remover.

During the first 30 days from application, we recommend cleaning your surface every day using the supplied Smart Micorfibre Cloth. After 30 days it is recommended to thoroughly clean the surface weekly with a standard whiteboard cleaner.

Well, to be honest, frequent use of alcohol on Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper can compromise the surface quality and diminish its performance over time.

No, just like a traditional whiteboard, Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is not intended for use with permanent markers. However, if you accidentally use permanent markers on the whiteboard surface, then all you need to do is use our Permanent Ink Remover to remove.

One method to remove permanent marker is by writing over it with a whiteboard marker. This helps reactivate the ink, thus making it easier to erase. Just allow it to sit for two minutes before wiping away. However, if the stain persists, then use our Permanent Ink Remover r that is specifically formulated to eliminate permanent ink, tough stains, and ghosting from whiteboard surfaces. Whiteboard paint is applied with a brush where the whiteboard wallpaper is not.

Any high quality whiteboard markers, like those found in our range, can be used.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper can be applied using a ready mixed heavy duty wallpaper adhesive. Simply apply the adhesive to the wall using a roller and then apply the whiteboard wallpaper.

At the joint, overlap the dry erase vinyl and double cut right through with a sharp blade. This will minimize the appearance of seams on your whiteboard surface.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpapers can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. We recommend hanging the writing wallpaper horizontally to minimize seams on writing areas.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper installation

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is a high-quality, writable wallcovering that creates a smooth, seamless dry-erase surface, ready for use in just 24 hours. However, for best results, we recommend professional installation.

This wallpaper is easy to apply and can be hung horizontally, vertically, or even on curved walls. However, installing it horizontally is advised to make working at eye level more convenient.

Before application, ensure the surface is smooth. Highly absorbent surfaces, such as new plaster, should be primed beforehand. We recommend using Smart White Primer , as it has been tested for compatibility with our wallcoverings.

Application Process

1. Prepare & Measure
Roll out the wallpaper on the floor to measure and cut it to the required length using sharp scissors.

2. Apply Adhesive
Stir the ready-mixed adhesive, adding up to 10% water if needed for a smooth consistency. Use a roller to apply two coats of adhesive to the wall, allowing the first coat to dry to the touch before applying the second.

3. Hang the Wallpaper
Once the second coat of adhesive is ready, carefully apply the whiteboard wallpaper, ensuring a smooth finish.
